Historian Dr Lillian Cespedes Gonzalez introduces us to the battle of Tannenberg or Grunwald, which is considered one of the largest battles in medieval history and with important political repercussions.
The aim of this lecture is to help people understand how these events happen, why war proliferates, the reasons we use for it and how battles and military history particularly are often manipulated for the sake of later, modern political propagandas and agendas.
Finally, we hope to bring attention to the history of some countries that are often a little forgotten in European history.
