Stephan – The Surreal and Fantastic Bosch Parade 2024

For a few days every June, the Dommel River in the city of Den Bosch becomes home to an incredible artistic spectacle, showcasing some truly amazing floating installations.

Taking its inspiration from the works of Jheronimus Bosch, the Bosch parade celebrates a surreal world full of symbolism, allegory and fantasy. Individuals and organisations work together to recreate elements of the paintings of Bosch as preposterous waterborne artworks.

On this tour, we will experience this amazing parade together, and marvel at the extraordinary creativity floating before our very eyes. This year, the theme is Contemporary Demons, and the floating creations will make you look at the modern world around you in surprise. It’s a world full of demons…

So prepare yourself for what will be a surreal and fantastic tour experience, that needs to be seen to be believed. If you wish, you can join in the spirit of this crazy event by dressing up too. 🙂
